How to make a custom name keychain for 3D printing
- Type the name. Enter a name or short word. Capital letters print cleanest on small keychains.
- Choose a style. Name, bubble, script, tag, engraved or coin. Each style sets the font, shape and border for you.
- Adjust size and ring hole. Set the width (40–60 mm is typical) and which side the ring hole goes on.
- Download the keychain STL. Download one print-ready STL file, sized in millimetres.
- Print in two colours. Print flat at 0.2 mm layers. Change filament at the height shown to make the letters stand out.

How do I turn text into a keychain STL?
Type the text, pick a style, and press Download. The generator joins the letters, adds a border and a ring hole, and checks the file is printable.
Can I make a keychain from my logo?
Yes. Switch the design to a picture and upload a PNG or JPG logo. Transparent PNGs give the cleanest outline.
How thick should a 3D printed keychain be?
About 3 mm for the base plus 1–1.5 mm for raised letters is strong enough for keys and bags.
